There are alot of support groups out there, even groups online, but the sad truth is that patients usually dont go to these support groups and ask questions. and if they do its not until they are already frustrated. When someone is a new amputee they dont know the steps they are going to be going through to become independent again. They get frustrated and few get the answers they need. A person needs someone who has been through the experience to explain whats going to be happining from the beginning. They need the Consultant in the very begining of the process. Not after the experience has confused and frustrated them. Thats where your company can help. As your company consultant I can be there.
Professionals and patients can call your company wanting to make a appointment to meet with me. after the meeting I will make sure people know I am always available for them. Either for mentoring, one on one meeting or with there professional or a phone call to disscuss anything that may be needed. Support groups are not always the answer they usually come to little to late. Or all to offten these groups and session turn into venting sessions about the lack of care theyare getting. O.T's and down the line calling the company with questions about a certain product. They have a new patient who doesnt know what products are out there, let alone the name of the companies out there. A amputee only knows whats out there by what the professionals are telling them.  If theres a new amputeeout there they dont have any idea of whats out there, whos name is on the product or how that company is going to take care of them. They want to talk to someone who has been there. Someone who can tell them how the products works for them. Trust me when I say , When you look at a person who has went through what you have and they tell you about there experiences and what works for them,  the new patient will have a tendency to always trust that person.

When a patient comes to see a professional, the professional is going to call you . There going to call you because you are going to send out your company consultant who will meet with the patient and tell them about the company the experiences they have with the company and the products the company has. The consultant will be wearing the product so the patient is going to ask all the questions  that unfortunatly the professionals cant answer ( Only someone who wears the product would know how to answer these questions.) The amputee( new or seasoned) is now aware of  your company and has seen someone use the product. The consultant will have a open phone line for anyone having questions. Whether it is a product question. Emotional support,  a professional having a question about how to help a patient learn to do something new or a patient having any questions about the product and the best way to use them for any number of reasons. The company is going to be there for the professional and the amputee. Your company has supplied a Consultant/Specialist with "true hands "on experience to the patient or professional . These people will know who is giving them the support they need to keep there business strong . and the amputee will know they have the support they need in any number of situations. As your consultant I will be able to speak or see anyone 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Thats the best customer service you can give anyone. The professionals will know to call you and the patient will know you care about them and there success .
